We are looking for a Head of Finance (d/f/m) to lead our finance function, drive financial excellence, and act as a strategic partner to senior management across all business areas.
In this role, you will oversee all core finance activities, including accounting, reporting, controlling, and treasury, while continuously developing processes and capabilities to support our international growth. You will play a central role in ensuring transparency, compliance, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full finance function (accounting, controlling, treasury, tax)
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Oversee financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with applicable standards
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital optimization
- Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and external advisors
- Provide strategic insights and financial analysis to support executive decision-making
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including performance monitoring
- Build, manage, and develop the finance team
- Roll out and finetuning of SAP 4 Hana implementation
- Identify and mitigate financial and regulatory risks specific to the fuel trading sector
Your Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in senior finance roles
- Experience in fuel trading, energy, commodities, or related sectors is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting
- Proven experience in cash flow and financing management
- Advanced SAP 4 Hana knowledge and key user experience
- Good understanding of tax regulations (VAT, excise duty experience is a plus)
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Leadership experience with a track record of team development
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
